Gotta get back on track.

Was doing pretty good last year, with inspiration from Spark friends. I was off work due to ankle surgery recuperation, and had the time to hit the Spark page. After returning to work in January 2011, my computer time dwindled, and I was tired from working all day, and did not push myself to make time for my Spark goals. However, going back to work did help me lose the 10 lbs I gained during the summer, when I was sitting around watching tv and recuperating! Now, I'm back to my original ...

After returning to work in January 2011, my computer time dwindled, and I was tired from working all day, and did not push myself to make time for my Spark goals. However, going back to work did help me lose the 10 lbs I gained during the summer, when I was sitting around watching tv and recuperating! Now, I'm back to my original overweight status... lol ...

so..... recently joined the ATC gym that opened in my area. Between the heat index and my rotating shifts, it is very hard for me to find that inner strength to keep moving enough to do some type of workout.

i do know one thing, i am tired of feeling heavy and sluggish.... i have got to find my 'happy place' again!

thanks to my Spark friends, who wrote me sweet notes and checked on me the last 6 months -- it's what kept Sparkpeople in the back of my mind, and motivated me to sit down today and make the decision to do what I need to do.

My Goals:
This was the year I said I was going to take care of myself .... get healthier, stronger, and just plain feel better!

My Program:
Right now I am monitoring what I eat on the Food Tracker, and learning how quickly all the calories/fat/carbs add up. I have been walking each day, and this week I'm working really hard on eating right. The portion sizes are still taking some getting used to!
