HELLO! I'M JESSICA.
Thank goodness 2011 is over! Time to look to the future! I set a few resolutions for the new year: #1 Use positive psychology in my daily life. This includes spending more time in nature. Walking outdoors, playing with my dogs in the yard. Also explore mindfulness this year. Learn how to slow down a bit and listen to my body and mind. #2 Exercise consistently. Bike for 30 min 3 times a week, and strength train 2 times a week. I would also like to do one session ...
Thank goodness 2011 is over! Time to look to the future! I set a few resolutions for the new year: #1 Use positive psychology in my daily life. This includes spending more time in nature. Walking outdoors, playing with my dogs in the yard. Also explore mindfulness this year. Learn how to slow down a bit and listen to my body and mind. #2 Exercise consistently. Bike for 30 min 3 times a week, and strength train 2 times a week. I would also like to do one session of Pilates per week. It sounds like a lot, but I don't have a job right now. With school stress, I feel the almost daily exercise would help me with goal #1. #3 Make healthy food choices. I want to use goal #1 to help me learn to slow down and control the impulses to grab unhealthy foods like chips and Pepsi. I also want to stock my kitchen with better choices so when I'm starving it's easier to make healthy choices. #4 Regain financial stability. I want to save. Even if its $10 a month, it's a start to a new healthy habit. I want to pay off loans and credit cards. Two years ago I had no debt like that and it felt awesome. Want that again in 2012. Lots of goals, but I feel my life could use some cleaning up. All the goals intertwine and small changes in each area could really turn my life around. Gotta stop wishing for things to change and put in the work.
