"Before" pic, taken 2 weeks ago. Hopefully, there will be an "after" soon to follow!
I saw a doctor (a real doctor!) who confirmed with a test that I have major candida overgrowth. I suspected this over 20 years ago, but didn't want to do what I had to do to fix it. Since then, I've dealt with big time fatigue, skin issues, mystery hives, IBS, muscle/joint aches, weight gain and weight holding, and I topped it off with an autoimmune disease. Lovely. I wonder how much of this could have been avoided. "sigh" Time to make it right and lose weight in the process!
Break this sugar cycle! I'm trying to kick the candida issue and ultimately hit a goal weight of 140.
I'm following the doctor-recommended anti-candida diet. That means: no sugar, no vinegar, no alcohol, no molds/fungus, no dairy, no bread, no, no, no....
There are some delicious foods to eat, so I'm trying to focus on that versus the foods I can't eat.
