It's hard to make changes no matter what they are. When I was first diagnosed with type 2, I was angry and in denial, but quickly figured out . . . OK, this is my life. Deal! Joining SP was the best thing I ever did for myself. Yes, having to make the dietary changes necessary to support a healthy blood sugar takes work, but it is do-able.
I started with a blood sugar of 330 and an A1C of 12 in Jan, 2010. I have an A1C of 4.8 as of March 2012, off all meds and my blood sugar . . . range from 75-100 (100 being 2 hrs. post meal), but generally even 2 hrs. post meal, my blood sugar is 85-90.
