Hi, My name is Josie and I am glad to be here!
I lost 30 pounds last year here at SparkPeople, then I injured my knee and couldn't walk or run anymore. I also lost my motivation to lose weight during the winter and spring months and in the process I put on almost all the weight I had worked so hard to lose.

I'm definitely not getting younger and the longer I wait to do this, the harder it is to do anything.

The realization that I am dying causes me to really want to savor life and to keep my health as long as I possibly can. I look back and realize that I have wasted so much of this precious gift of life and that knowledge tears at my heart.

I cannot have both excuses and life.

I CHOOSE LIFE.

My Program:
Keep it simple.

Daily:

*Drink as close to half my weight in water as possible each day.

*Take necessary vitamins.

*Diabetic diet

*Walking at least 10 minutes after every meal.

*Sleep 8 hours

*TRACK everything!


Personal Information:
*happily married, with three adult, married children, two grandsons, a granddaughter, and two dogs






Other Information:
I enjoy art of all types, music of many genres, travel, books, interior decorating, redheads, beards, eccentric people, and wabi sabi style.

I love to jog but my knee won't let me.

I also like biking, yoga, and Qi Gong. I'm looking for other fitness routines I can truly enjoy and look forward to doing daily.
