I joined SP on March 31, 2013

I'm starting over.....again.

I am hard-wired to be a prodigal who wastes my health, wealth, time, and life on extravagant junk that destroys me. But I seek to change my ways, and, thereby, change my life, moment by moment, choice by choice, hour by hour, day by day.

I don't want to be a prodigal anymore!

Little choices + honesty + consistency + time = Success!

I saw your message about the fitness minutes being inaccurate, they actually are inaccurate! I asked on the message board and we are only allowed 120 minutes a day, so if you do 300 one day and only 60 the next day your total would only be 180 minutes instead of 360. That kind of means they expect you to do the same amount of fitness minutes a day not allowing for rest days. The limit was installed because people were cheating on fitness minutes I guess, although I am no sure how I would do that if it is recorded on my Fitbit. The world is a strange place now!

September brings fall, with the leaves falling, changing to colors of red,
orange, gold, yellow, and brown. It brings cooler temperatures, shorter days,
as we start to wear long-sleeved shirts, bring out the sweatshirts we've had
packed away for months, and the jackets we wished we did not have to wear
for awhile. We smell fall in the air, as we the pick the vegetables from
the gardens, & the plants we bring in before the frost.
We see flocks of geese traveling to warmer weather, and enjoy watching
the children playing in the leaves, as they laugh, smile, & have fun.

Most of us try to avoid hills, but what's so good about flat?
Think about it..flat tires, flat hair, flat returns, and -the ultimate-flat-lining.
Life happens on the hills. They're opportunities to prove to yourself that
you're stronger than you ever imagined. If you never attempt the ascent,
you will never know the the thrill of swooshing down the other side.
