My name is Erica and since having my two children I had gained more weight than I'd like. Obesity, heart disease and cancer are all hereditary factors that motivate me. My heaviest was 154lbs and I lost weight over the course of a few months by not eating fast food. I was not tracking my weight until January 08 when I joined SparkPeople at 145 lbs!

It's been several years since I started my Spark journey and I gained back all of the weight I lost. I know this is due to a negative view of myself and choosing not to believe I am capable or worthy of attaining my goals. I am tired of not believing in myself and sabotaging my goals and happiness.

My Goals:
To get myself on the treadmill three days a week - once I get there I can do it, getting there is my problem!

To do something every day. Whether its just pushups and jumping jacks or a full workout, doing something EVERY day so that fitness is always on my mind!

To feel sexy around my husband, I miss feeling confident around him! I know he doesn't even mind but I do!

To be a great example for my children, exercising and eating healthy!

To be financially savvy and teach my children how!

To graduate college and be proud of myself and my accomplishments!

145: New workout outfit
140: GOAL! New expensive jeans!

I currently take Latuda to treat my bi-polar disorder.

Personal Information:
I'm a wife and mother, nothing could make me happier!

I deal with bi-polar disorder, which some people mistake for unhappiness with my life, its a chemical imbalance, not something I choose, but I do choose to be proactive about it!

Other Information:
I love to cook and love getting new recipes for healthier meals!

    Hi Erica,
    Sorry just saw your answer to my board posts. I have to admit I haven't been as vigilant with the Insanity workouts as I should be. I did my fit test on the 2nd, first workout on the 4th and 2 or 3 since then (I started running around the same time and my knees and legs have been staging a mutiny). But I am back into the program come the 16th (traveling the rest of this week, so know I can't commit again right now).
    How has it been going for you? What have you discovered thus far?? Love or hate it?
    Let me know, if you are still interested I would love to buddy up and support one another. I know if I have someone doing it with me (even virtually, I'd be much more prone to stick with it).

    I'm also doing Insanity and I'm on Day 10. This isn't the first time I've done it but it's still a real challenge. If you haven't done the workouts in Month 2 you are in for a treat!

    Thanks for stopping by my Spark page. I like the progression in pictures too! even though I am extremely photo phobic. It took me forever to find a "before" picture.

    Hello Best friend emoticon I'm getting back on the wagon emoticon I've gained like all my weight I lost back..it sure comes back A LOT faster than it takes to loose it, emoticon DAMN IT!!! But I feel TERRIBLE..and don't like it. So tomorrow it starts...I gotta eat the rest of my cheesecake tonight emoticon hahahaha. LOVE YOU!!! emoticon
