Exercising every day is my one thing. I began working out for at least 2 hours on February 28th, 2015. I get 14 hours a week of exercise. I am being very disciplined about this because there is a family history of heart disease and diabetes.

2015 Resolutions
1.) Make a healthy lunch every day, unless I'll be eating out.
2.) Avoid alcoholic beverages entirely, until I am at goal weight. They have no nutritive value and work against losing weight.
3.) No coffee. I do not even like coffee! I hate it. So I always add some soy milk to it, so that it does not even taste like coffee. Alright, so I have been going through a lot of soy milk. Also, coffee causes your body to produce adrenaline, which makes you hyper alert and easily upset. The best source of energy should come from food and that is where I want to get it. I used to just drink herbal tea all the time, and I want to get back to that. It is way mellower. It does not affect your moods in a bad way if you just have the herbal kind.
4) Only sugar free cocoa, no other kind. The kind with sugar gives me a headache. I have been drinking it anyway. But that is going to stop!
5) Only sugar free candy, because sugar is not going to help me lose weight. And because regular chocolate candy seems to be some sort of trigger for me, I can't leave it alone! At least the sugar free kind has less calories.

My Program:
I started a 2 hour fitness streak on February 28, 2015. I get 14 hours of exercise a week. I have not been able to lose weight with less exercise than this. So this needs to be what I am doing right now.

I checked out the National Sorrowful Mother Shrine...it is beautiful. My priest was from Mount Angel in Oregon.

Nice to meet you! Didn't know if anyone would recognize the Garbage song but I love it. Music is a huge part of my healthful living approach--from singing in the shower to putting together playlists for my runs, based on my mood. I'm always happy to bond with someone over a good song choice!
