Trying to lose over 50lbs in less than a year. I have always struggled with my weight. It is so frustrating. I work out more than most people and eat less than most people. I don't eat candy except on rare occasion and I don't like soda. I like to joke that my body can make calories from water. When the weather is nice, I even ride my bike to and from work. I really hope that I can meet people here that I will be able to lose weight with and can help encourage me while I encourage them. I also absolutly love the Nutrition planning on this website. I have also been seeing a Dr. about my weight and I go every two weeks. I hope and pray that this may be the time that I can finally get the weight off and I am going to make sure that I keep it off. I have already greatly changed my views on food and I weigh myself every morning.
Another reason why I want to lose weight is because I have been to some doctors that think that I may have Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and if I want to have kids in the future it is very important that I lose weight now. I also struggle with hypo-thyroid. Even though I don't like candy, sweets, soda, or bread, because I am overweight my husband and my family are always worried that I will get diabetes and have other health problems. Both of my maternal grandparents have diabetes and I have a young cousin that has Type 1 diabetes.

My Goals:
I so badly want to get to at least 140 pounds. I have never been that light before. The smallest pant size I've ever been is has been size 12. When I started really trying and changing my life I was in a size 18. Now I am in a size 14. I want to be less than a size 8.
