I couldn't do it without them. 2. SparkPeople - what a great community. 3. www.susanpowteronline.com - Eat, Breathe, Move, Think - and modify for your fitness level all the way! 4. Dr. Mehmet Oz - Reading his books are real eye openers. Visit www.realage.com and find out what your real age is versus your chronological age. 5. Jorge Cruz's 8 minute workout. Very easy to do excerises in small bite size pieces that helped me get started with my excercise plan. No equipment needed. 6. Clean Eating Cookbook by Tosca Reno. Lots of healthy receipes. 7. When I just want to smile: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=YAWHAT EVER7 Some of the things that motivate me on my journey: 1. Wanting to feel good and look good. 2. Wanting to be around long enough and be healthy enough to help take care of parents if they need it (they don't yet). 3. Wanting clothes that stay on my hangers and not fall off because they are so big. 4. Wanting to walk into a regular clothing store and buy something off the rack. 5. Wanting to be able to walk into a restaurant and not worry if the chairs are too small or the booths are too tight. 6. Wanting to be out in public and not feel like people are staring at me and making judgements. 7. Wanting to be able to get on a plane and fly home to California and see my brother for the first time in 10 years. 8. Wanting to be able to get back on a horse. 9. No wanting to hide when I run into someone I haven't seen in a while because I am so embarassed by the way I look. 10. Wanting to have control of the food in my life and not having the food control me.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 158lbs and weigh 180lbs by my 45th birthday on May 10, 2009. (I'ld really like to be closer to 140, but I am trying to be responsible. I didn't gain this weight over night, I cannot expect to lose it overnight.)
My Program:
1. Eating healthy foods like whole grains, nuts, fresh fruits and veggies. 2. Eliminate as much pre-prepared, pre-packaged, ready made anything as possible. 3. Eat a good breakfast and then eat every few hours during the day to keep hunger at bay. 4. Excercise every day. Something! Move every day. Work towards longer, more intense excersice.
Personal Information:
I am originally from Southern California, but I have lived in North Texas since Oct 2006. I really miss home.
Other Information:
Some favorite things: Family Baseball (Go Angels!) True Crime Shows My Pets (Lillie, Sarah, JC, and Gilley) Camping Cooking John Grisham Books Things I dislike aren't really worth the time and effort to think about and list.
