I have faith that i will be able to loose these 60 unwanted pounds from my body.
I am happy to say since you can see me on my treadmill that by using it I have finally been able to add some activities back in my life. little things like wash my own hair again. FOr those of you who have severe COPD you understand how taxing that can be.
I am on oxgyen 24/7 and takes several medicines for the COPD and other issues. like diabetsis, vasculitis. restless leg syndrome.that have bad side effects. I am losing my sight but as long as i have it i will continue to do all i can.
I started out only being able to walk 2 1/2 minutes on the treadmill but i have been able to add to it. i can now walk 5 minutes at a time. one day i will be able to go 15 minutes at one time. it just takes time. but it can be done. and i have plenty of time.

I'm glad to know you are 70 and on that Treadmill. I will be 59 this Sunday and I PLAN to work my butt off for the next 11 years and turn 70 in GREAT SHAPE. This first year of Sparks, I only lost 35#, but this Second year, I will get the rest of it off, as it is so much easier now.
It is so hard when you first start, because it is so difficult at that point.
Do keep going. Jack LaLanne is 94 now and works out two hours every single day. He swims and lifts weights. He says "Don't lose the legs!" emoticon

I love your furbaby-- she is beautiful! I too suffer with asthma/copd and had an awfully scary episode a few weeks back (I blogged about it) Good luck releasing the extra weight and getting healthier!
