Ten percent at a time...again

I am 40 years old and I have never known what it is like to be skinny. I have been the chubby kid my whole life. Two years ago I lost 37 pounds, and I was soooo proud of myself. Now I have gained that back plus. I am just so tired of being tired. I want to be healthy. I want to be happier.

It can be frustrating at times, especially when the scale goes in the wrong direction, but in the end, all the hard work will pay off. It has been discouraging the yo-yo of the scale. I will do really well, but then life happens, and I just stop. I am hoping to really focus on me and take care of this battle.

My Goals:
My goal for 2016...to become a healthier me. I am taking baby steps to make sure I stick to my goals. I want to be successful in this difficult journey ahead.

My Program:
I am working on making myself healthier by using the 10% theory. Maybe if I do not make my goals so grand I will be able to succeed. I have cleaned out the kitchen...thrown out all the holiday junk in the pantry and refrigerator. Next step is to going shopping for good, wholesome food and then to plan my fitness goals.

So, I used to be in a group that did challenges (about 3 years ago) and I can't remember which one it was. I see that you are a White Hawk, I'm assuming this is a team and a challenge maybe? Hey, I hear you say you despise the exercise, listen get moving with something fun, Get the kids and put on music and move around fast, they will enjoy that and you can get some of the fitness in. Just start with that dancing with 5 minutes and move from there. I have to make myself do this because it is what my body needs. And take it day by day. emoticon
