My journey is to run half marathons for charities. It will prove that I can overcome long term obstacles instead of just giving up on myself, like I have been doing for years. I have great people to talk to about this and to help me along, however, this is something that I must accomplish by myself. No cheating, no excuses - or they will catch up to me.
I have two kids and a husband. Our daughter is the sugar and spice kind of girl, who loves her princesses, anything that sparkles, and all kinds of animals. Our son is a little clown, who loves Star Wars Lego game, his DS, and pizza. He is ADHD, so each day is a challange to us. I am adament to learn all things ADHD so we can help him as best as we can! Ask me a question about it and I can probably find the answer. I love my husband. We met while we were both active duty USAF. We have our issues like any other couple, but have overcome a lot.
I am prior AF active duty SSgt and have served many different outlets supporting the warfighter! We are a military family: sister is AD AF, stepfather is Ret AF Col, grandfather (passed away in 2005) was AD Navy. I hang our pictures in our house with swelled up pride, hoping one day to see one of our children's picture on that wall.

My goals are to run at 11min/mi for a half marathon, lose 70lbs. I want to eat better, not eat everything in sight, and bring back some of my energy that I do not have anymore being overweight. I want to blog about my successes and failures so that others can understand.
I am starting out on the HCG diet for 30 days in hopes to lose 30lbs. After the program, I plan to use the B-12 shot until I can lose another 30lbs. I hope that this loss will help with my running. I was at 13min/mile.
