A short list of facts about my weight loss journey ...

All time high weight in May 2001: 131 kg (288.2 lbs) and according to BMI obese class III.

Start weight on beginning Atkins Nutritional Approach in January 2004: 125 kg (275 lbs)
Weight on joining SP in May 2007: 112 kg (246.4 lbs) and obese class II.

First medium term goal weight: 103 kg (226.6 lbs). Last three years low in August 2006.

Wow...how neat that our children share a birthdate!!! I hope she had a fabulous day! Glad to hear from you. I read your blog - Spark and exercise can become quite time consuming. I'm off school for the summer, so I've had a little extra time (although the kids keep me plenty busy), but once school starts back up...I have a feeling there will be much less time for SP. So glad you checked in!

Haarajot, although I haven't been active in the low-carb team for a long time, I got an email back in May about Malachi 3:3. I finally got around to reading that email today -- and I've been feeling as if I were "in the fire" for such a long time, now.
I cried as I read the explanation from the refiner about how he knew when the metal was done.
Thank you for posting such a beautiful and helpful insight.
It made a difference in my perspective today.

Haarajot, you are very right about the body betrayal. I believe that part of positive attitude is being able to accept that the body does not always cooperate and not allowing it to defeat you.

You have stalled, I have stalled... but we are both still here continuing to work towards our goals... that is positive attitude1
