Today's The Day... I Can Feel It.

The uniform of my life would have to be shorts, t-shirt, and flipflops; I love sunshine to no end.

I love my family to no end, and my parents are the smartest people I know. I drink more coffee than I should. Growing up is harder than I thought it would be. My favorite color switches every day. (Today it's purple.) If I had to pick somewhere to be RIGHT NOW, it would be fishing with my siblings. I miss Germany. I prefer to write in pen. It's neigh impossible to find something that ...

It's neigh impossible to find something that makes me happier than a blue sky. I enjoy Chess and Candyland.

Music is my personal crack. I love hanging with people that can make me laugh. I want to learn almost every possible language. I have an insane phobia against the people who dress up in fuzzy costumes in theme parks. Rainbows are BA.

Frank Sinatra is the man. I'll take summertime, thank you. Classy piercings are the way to go. I'm always looking for thumb rings. I play the saxophone, and I'm in the process of making it my life. Watching shooting stars is a favorite time-waster. And... Frank Sinatra is STILL the man.

Hey! :)
Public announcement of your goals is a huge step in the right direction. :) When you are held accountable to others it will help keep you from slipping back into old habits. I was a CNA in my early 20s (Wow that makes me sound old lol I'm 36) but you'll be on your feet a lot so there is a lot of exercise right there, but make sure you also do at least 30 mins of intentional exercise 5-6 days a week (Everyones body needs a rest day) :) Let me know if you need anything!

You have chosen to embark on a great journey to health and fitness and you'll make some great new Spark Friends along the way!
And it's easy if you follow these guidelines...
*Drink your emoticon
*Eat your five servings emoticon
*Track your food and fitness emoticon
*Get in an extra 10 minutes of dancing emoticon
*Get plenty of emoticon
*Believe that you are worth it emoticon
* Keep walking emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

You are not alone on this journey. We do not stand in front or behind but beside each other. You can do this. Don't get down if you make a mistake but get back up and do it again and again until you get it right. It will happen. Maybe not today or even tomorrow but you will do it if you believe in yourself. Find that strength deep inside and bring it out. Don't jump into a decision to quit and then regret it. Even a small victory is a step ahead.

emoticon emoticon emoticon WELCOME TO SPARK!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.

1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.

2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.

The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Spark friends are here for support, motivation and encouragement. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle! Again, welcome to the SP family!
