My name is Jenny. I'm a single mom with an 8 year old boy on personality overload. Over the years I let myself go and allowed the "I'm too busy" excuse to rule my health. A couple years ago, I decided enough.

So I began my journey with Weight Watchers Online at 165 and managed to drop about 18 lbs. Then began my up 5 lbs down 5 lbs game. Then weight watchers introduced their new system and I was gung ho for about 2 weeks. Then I realized, it was ridiculous. I was burying nutritional knowledge into a point system that didn't actually teach me what my body needed. I was all about the lowest points possible which more often than not, meant processed foods with "added" fiber to decrease the points. I was fooling myself and I realized this program was just not for me.

While there, I had heard about SP and had even popped over long enough to create a profile, look around, then leave. I was loyal to WW then you see. So now I've returned to my dusty, unused profile and revamped it along with my outlook. I'm back on track and back to losing and I know now that this was the better fit for my lifestyle and method of learning all along! I was simply too stubborn to see it.

So here we go! 2012 is my year. I wanted to reach my goal before my 40th birthday in October of 2011, but it didn't happen. So my new goal is to not let 40 get away from me, but make it my transformation year.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to have great cardio health. In other words, I want to be able to drop a 5k without it being a big deal. In the process, I'd like to tone up my body and lose about 20 lbs. I want to feel good again! I have three guys in my life who are all active, fit and vibrant (my boyfriend, his 13 year old and my 8 year old). I need to quit being the anchor.

My Program:
Anything I can fit in!

I run when the weather is good and daylight is available.

I TurboFire whenever possible.

I occasionally do a quasi-kickboxing workout with my wonderful boyfriend.

I walk at lunch 2-3 miles.

I try not to stuff my face with junk!

    i agree! it is too few calories for me, as well. i use almond milk instead of water, which adds about 40-60 calories per shake, and add in extra pieces of fruit when i feel like i need it, and i still have great results from it. i need to work on drinking more water when i do it, though. anyway, happy holidays!

    Good idea on buying another band so you can wash it. lol I need to do that! And great idea on plugging it up while you get ready for work. I just realized that I can add "getting ready/shower" to the activity on the BM device. I'm so pleased with the new system they have with the comments. I love this thing! Well have a great day! Also how much do you burn on average. I'm lazy and need to move more. I only burn about 2300-2600 if I don't workout. It's around 2600 if I walked around more at the house/shopped/or did some cleaning but normally it's 2300-2400 if I'm just sitting at the computer being lazy. lol :) How many calories do you allow yourself to eat?
