Newly Converted to Paleo/ Primal--Lifestyle Change!
I graduated from VT in May and am a grad student at RU. I played sports in high school and was thin and healthy. A mere 6 years later I am 150 lbs heavier. It started with an undiagnosed thyroid disorder and ending with me overeating and not accepting that I wasn't one of those people that can eat a hamburger everyday and maintain weight (like I had in high school).
I joined a few months ago, quit over the holiday and came back here after not only gaining all the weight I lost ...

I joined a few months ago, quit over the holiday and came back here after not only gaining all the weight I lost back, but also gaining an additional five pounds from when I started this in September!
My boyfriend and I started eating Paleo in the middle of January. It's been a life-altering change and we plan to continue to eat like this for life. Go Primal/ Paleo lifestyles!

My Program:
I am tracking my fitness and exercising 3x a week. I work full time + and am a full time graduate student, so my goal is to make time to exercise NO EXCUSES. It's time I stop saying, "I'm sick of being fat." I need to do something about it NOW. We want to have kids in a few years and I know that being overweight makes that more difficult. I want to be a healthy mother and wife.

I am from Virginia and currently reside in Blacksburg, VA. I drive buses for Blacksburg Transit. I am also a writer- a novelist specifically.
