On My Way To A Better Life!!

I am 45 years old and after dealing with a couple of foot injuries I am finally on my way. I have been a member of Spark People for quite some time but have also dropped out of the whole healthy lifestyle. I am back and feeling good. Losing weight and exercising is much more difficult then I ever thought it would be. It is a life change and my priorities have changed. I have been a member of Spark People for quite some time but have also dropped out of the whole healthy lifestyle. I am back and feeling good. Losing weight and exercising is much more difficult then I ever thought it would be. It is a life change and my priorities have changed. I would love to lose weight but my main focus now is my health. I would really love to get back to how I was in my running photo. I was 137 lbs. wearing a size 6 and physically feeling awesome. I keep telling myself, "If I can train for and run a marathon having never ran a day in my life, I can lose this weight!"

Feb. 28 - down 4-8 lbs.

March- run the shamrock n roll 5 k in 30 min. or less


June - run the Fathers Day Run

when I lose 15 lbs. I get to buy something from Athleta

My Program:
Gym - 6 days a week.
Mon. Upper body & cardio
tues -Cardio and abs
Wed. - Lower body and cardio
Thurs. Cardio and abs.
Fri. Upper body and Cardio
Sat. Lower Body and Cardio
Sun. day off but try to do some yoga or pilates at home.

Drink tons of water and get my veggies and fruits in.

Personal Information:
I am 45 years old. Married to the most wonderful man. I have 3 great kids. My oldest just graduated from college. My twins are Juniors in highschool. I work in a kindergarten classroom. Love being outside.

Other Information:
Love scrapbooking!!
Love books by Jodi Picoult.
Enjoy traveling, but don't get to very much.
Enjoy playing volleyball at Lake Shannon and with my school staff.

Just checking in on how your week went? My diet's going well, but exercise is too sporadic, and I definitely need a balance to see results. Trying to organize and gear up for a successful week. Hope you have a great one!

Thanks for the nice note... I've had a couple days that seem like carbo-fests (sigh). I'm going to go for a walk tonight to try to offset a little. Thanks for the goodie! Also, WaHOOOOooo! on the weight loss. You're doing so well!
