I am 45 years old and after dealing with a couple of foot injuries I am finally on my way. I have been a member of Spark People for quite some time but have also dropped out of the whole healthy lifestyle. I am back and feeling good. Losing weight and exercising is much more difficult then I ever thought it would be. It is a life change and my priorities have changed. I would love to lose weight but my main focus now is my health. I would really love to get back to how I was in my running photo. I was 137 lbs. wearing a size 6 and physically feeling awesome. I keep telling myself, "If I can train for and run a marathon having never ran a day in my life, I can lose this weight!"

Hey Gym Girl, Thanks for commenting on the blog. I sometimes wonder if I work out too much too but how can that be possible? Good luck to you on your journey too~

Things are good, but I have been so busy lately. I am finishing up my Kettlebell Challenge (10,000 swings in Feb.), and won't be doing that again for awhile. I think I am going to do some basic cardio workouts, along with traditional strength training for the month of March.

Hope everything is good your way! Thanks for checking in!!
