Thanks for the hot cocoa! I went to mom and dad's last april (Amery Wisconsin) and they were still having snow! It was crazy. I was there for a week and it snowed 3 of those days. One night we got 8 inches. I haven't seen that much snow in forever! We live in Charlotte. Our predicted average annual snowfall is one inch!!! I never travel north between November and April to avoid snow (mostly because of flight delay risks). But last April, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the snow. At night I would open my window next to the bed and smell the smell of snow. You know what smell I'm talking about? What a memory trip that was for me! Of course my parents were really way over having snow for the year. I felt bad for them, but I enjoyed it.
Oh, and I'm from Wisconsin (I grew up there) in New Richmond, not far into Wisconsin from St Paul/Mpls. My parents went to North St Paul HS together. My hubby grew up in Coon Rapids. My hubby and 3 of our kids lived a while in Apple Valley while the Mall of America was being built. When I was young we'd go to the Stare Fair and Como Zoo. Grandma lived forever in N. St Paul. Small world, right? I'm now in North Carolina though. sunnier and warmer!
