Hello all. I lost 100 pounds through WW and had my 3nd anniversary of maintenance on September 19 2013. Hello all. I lost 100 pounds through WW and had my 3nd anniversary of maintenance on September 19 2013. For two of those three years, I have struggled with some binging and some weight gain, about 15 pounds in all. I am working hard to embrace a lifetime of wellness. I am using technology big time these days (fitbit, sparkpeople, and iPhone 5) to track my metrics. I continue to have major dental issues, and have finished with three dental implants. But, another sick tooth had to be pulled so I am looking forward--not--to a fourth implant. I''m retired, and as planned am busy with volunteer work. I''ve taken away a lot of learning from guitar lessons and currently am practicing every day. And, I have a small consulting job going. Looking for continuing motivation and help with this lifetime journey!

My Goals:
To have a fit and healthy retirement!

My Program:
I am focusing on wellness of all kinds--fitness, nutrition, emotional, social, to take an initial weight loss and turn it into my lifestyle. I love gadgets and use a fitbit pedometer, and have all kinds of applications on my iPhone and iPad to help me along. I track my nutrition on SP (usually less than 1,400 calories), fitness minutes on fitbit, and blood pressure on an ihealth app for the iphone. treadmill 6 times a week, lift light weights 3 times a week, and walk outside on the 7th day.

Personal Information:
My real name is Bonita, I am Canadian and live just north of Toronto. I trained in social work and am now retired from working in quality assurance in a social service agency.

My passion is classical guitar and in the photo I am playing my Yamaha GC-31, a mid range performance guitar, solid wood, not a bit of laminate on him!

My favorite music is Renaissance lute music transposed for classical guitar. Think of the dancing music in "Shakespeare in Love" and Greensleeves to get an idea.

Just checking in with Spark Friends.. things are gonna get real crazy here pretty quick on my end of things. I started back to school today for Spring Semester. Only 7 more classes to go and student teaching and then the testing (if I pass I'll officially be a teacher). I also work full time & so this is where the realy crazy stuff comes in. Want to stick with sparking and be supportive. I'll try keep things up. I actually gained 2lbs this week somehow and that is frustrating to me.
