Hello all.

I lost 100 pounds through WW and had my 4th anniversary of that loss on September 19 2014. I maintained for one year and then started a slow but steady gain. I managed to stop it when the gain hit 38 pounds and have so far re-shed five of those pounds. A lifetime journey indeed. I am back on Weight Watchers, which I find especially helpful as it now syncs with my Fitbit.

I am about 1 1/2 years into retirement and continue to volunteer, play my guitar, attend classes, and work at small consulting jobs. Retirement is working pretty well for me.

I continue to have major dental issues, and have finished with three dental implants. But, another sick tooth had to be pulled so I am looking forward--not--to a fourth implant.

Looking for continuing motivation and help with this lifetime journey!

My Goals:
To have a fit and healthy retirement!

My Program:
I am focusing on wellness of all kinds--fitness, nutrition, emotional, social. I love gadgets and use a fitbit, and have all kinds of applications on my iPhone and iPad to help me along. I am resheding some pounds through Weight Watchers and get activity points on WW through an automatic sync on fitbit. I still treadmill 6 times a week, lift light weights 3 times a week, and walk outside on the 7th day.

Personal Information:
My real name is Bonita, I am Canadian and live just north of Toronto. I trained in social work and am now retired from working in quality assurance in a social service agency.

My passion is classical guitar and in the photo I am playing one of my Yamaha's, this one a mid range performance guitar, solid wood, not a bit of laminate on him!

My favorite music is Renaissance lute music transposed for classical guitar. Think of the dancing music in "Shakespeare in Love" and Greensleeves to get an idea.

Hi
I have loads of flexibility in my lessons.
I am the office manager of the guitar school. I normally have lessons (not that I pay for them) with Leigh, the boss. All 26 years old of him. Virtuoso guitarist, terrific fun too.
I get on well with Rob, he's in his 40s and I asked him for a lesson, just for a change. He explained the things that Leigh had, but in a different way. Makes much more sense now.

Regular folks who miss lessons, without 48 hours notice, get billed for the missed lesson. If people don't like it, they can go to Ian or Colin (local teachers who are not good enough to work for us) they have bags of space as we have all their pupils.

We don't bill people if they have been rushed into hospital or something, we are not totally heartless.

Right, back off to Bach's Minuet in G Major then.

Grockles are tourists. Yes
Grockle boxes are touring caravans. Boxes that the Grockles tow about and stay in
Down South they call them 'Emmets'. Here in the Eastern Counties, we call Ants, Emmets. They are a bit odd down South though.

HI
I don't have carpel tunnel syndrome. My tendons are just fine and dandy. I smashed my wrist up, really badly 5 years ago. Stuffed my world up. Life altering for the first couple of years. I couldn't even lift a fork let alone a teacup. I groomed left handed for a while. Guitar playing has sorted the wrist right out for me. It's not great but it's a lot better.

Happy 4th July & Happy Playing.
