Hello all.

I lost 100 pounds through WW and had my 4th anniversary of that loss on September 19 2014. I maintained for one year and then started a slow but steady gain. I managed to stop it when the gain hit 38 pounds and have so far re-shed five of those pounds. A lifetime journey indeed. I am back on Weight Watchers, which I find especially helpful as it now syncs with my Fitbit.

I am about 1 1/2 years into retirement and continue to volunteer, play my guitar, attend classes, and work at small consulting jobs. Retirement is working pretty well for me.

I continue to have major dental issues, and have finished with three dental implants. But, another sick tooth had to be pulled so I am looking forward--not--to a fourth implant.

Looking for continuing motivation and help with this lifetime journey!

My Goals:
To have a fit and healthy retirement!

My Program:
I am focusing on wellness of all kinds--fitness, nutrition, emotional, social. I love gadgets and use a fitbit, and have all kinds of applications on my iPhone and iPad to help me along. I am resheding some pounds through Weight Watchers and get activity points on WW through an automatic sync on fitbit. I still treadmill 6 times a week, lift light weights 3 times a week, and walk outside on the 7th day.

Personal Information:
My real name is Bonita, I am Canadian and live just north of Toronto. I trained in social work and am now retired from working in quality assurance in a social service agency.

My passion is classical guitar and in the photo I am playing one of my Yamaha's, this one a mid range performance guitar, solid wood, not a bit of laminate on him!

My favorite music is Renaissance lute music transposed for classical guitar. Think of the dancing music in "Shakespeare in Love" and Greensleeves to get an idea.

Hi
Thanks for commenting on my blog.
I have rebooted my phone and my laptop and the fitbit has decided to sync. It's just a pain to have to do this 3 times a day to get the daft thing to sync but I'm planning on giving this one to Hubster and getting a fitbit Charge. They don't appear to to have the issues that the Flex does.

I am now feeling a lot more human. I have put my headphones on, plugged my Strat in and turned the amp up a wee smidge. I'm learning Satch Boogie and Jiboom, and a little distortion has suited me this afternoon. After an hour of that, I decided to play a little Romanza before my favourite pick decided to leave home. I'm now thinking of teaching myself the solo to Tesla's 'Love Song' but might go with some Eric Johnson instead. It's been that kind of a day.

BTW, my Boss thinks that your 'Staff Meeting' cartoon is hilarious :-)

With the cost of much dental care in the United States becoming out of reach for many Americans, those living near the border of Mexico have found an alternative. Dental care is both less expensive and still state of the art.

Thanks for your comment.

I have no problem with other sites only SP. If it happen on others I would have said that it as windows or Firefox. This has happened in both windows 7 and 8.1 but only on SP.

I have tried a few other browsers on T/s advice in the past and it still does it.

One thing that you may want to try is: map your route and tell it that you are riding a bike. Put in a route and calculate calories. In most times come back with error. T S know this and say they don't have time to sort it.

No it in not this end it is SP.

Maybe they will get it right sometime.
