Trying to stop the ride!

Up and down, up and down. I drop to 185, then I gain until I'm 194. Then I drop to 191 and I gain 3 more pounds. I love eating. I love the tasting, my cooking is fabulous, I love the going out to eat experience, I love eating. Most of the time, when I start eating, I can't stop.
Once I was 127, for an HOUR! Ha hahahahahaha
Trying to diet again. Hoping I can keep losing weight. My body does really well the first 2 weeks but then it starts gaining even though I'm exercising ...

Trying to diet again. Hoping I can keep losing weight. My body does really well the first 2 weeks but then it starts gaining even though I'm exercising just as hard and eating just as little. That's when I give up and just eat as much as I want.
Then it's up, up, up again.

Thanks for your note on my blog. I feel I should clarify... I'm not going out of my way to eat "illegal" foods in front of my husband. We do have bread and potatoes and rice in the house because we have two young children who need grain products and starches in their diets. And I usually have my sweet indulgances at work/in the office. I'm 100% supportive of his SCD diet and the positive effects it has had on his system. In fact, this week I made SCD spagetti sauce with meat (that we all could eat) and my husband had it on spaghetti squash while we had it on whole wheat pasta. My kids actually ate the sauce! Score one for me. (Would love to know if you have any interesting dinner ideas you could recommend!)

All this aside, I do still feel guilty about having a potato with my dinner or any type of bread product... because my husband has been a carb addict forever. (But as my husband reminds me, it's his burden to bear, not mine.) And my challenges around weight have more to do with my lack of motivation vs the food that I can eat.
