Nothing will be impossible for me...

Jesus said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20-21

I wish I had the source, but a writer stated that she had a mountain of fat to move and was going to have that faith to move it.

I like the image. I have a mountain of fat to move, also. Jesus says I can do ...

My Goals:
My main goal is to believe in goals again. I have become cynical lately and need to get over myself. OK, today, July 28, 2011 I recognize that this goal is complete.
Although this sounds odd and simple, I am going to make my next goal to set up routines and procedures for myself.

My Program:
I was recently diagnosed with ADD and am on medical treatment for it. So far, that seems to be helping my attitude. I was frustrated and cynical because I felt incompetent. Turns out I wasn't incompetent, I just couldn't keep from getting distracted.

My name is Glenda Roundtree. I currently live in Indianapolis, Indiana.

When I miss church, I miss the week's motivation! And seeing friends! Let's make a commitment to get there tomorrow!

Thanks for the ice cream goodie, Glenda! It is the same with me, doctors point out weight gain but seldom weight loss. They really need to notice the loss more than the gain. It may be encouraging to the patient to keep it up if someone, like a doctor, is noticing!

I hope you have a great week, and that you're able to stay cool in this overly hot summer! Give Connie & Kristina a belly rub and ear scritch from me!

Welcome to the Special Ed Teachers Lounge!

Here are the top-5 reasons I love this SparkPeople team:
1. Total strangers who cheer me on, many who become friends.
2. People who encourage and inspire.
3. People who share their strength when I don't have my own.
4. People who keep me trying and make me not want to give up.
5. We can never have too many of the above!

Other SparkPeople members have taught me:
1. Celebrate the little triumphs and focus on those.
2. Get up when you fall.
3. Share your success and help inspire others!
4. Share your struggles so others can inspire you.
5. It may go slow at times-- but as long as it's going, you’re doing something right.

Hi Glenda, welcome to the Emmaus Reunion Team!

Like you, I made my weekend years ago (1974, actually - it was called the Lutheran Cursillo then, now it's Sonshine Via de Cristo). We left the area within a month of my weekend, & I hooked up with a Catholic group after a while. Once I moved again, though, there wasn't a community nearby. Now that I'm back in Miami, I'm back where I belong - & I love it! What a blessing this community is!

I look forward to getting to know you.....

God Loves You and So Do I.
