Future Mother-in-law

Don't want the photographer to have to use the WIDE lens for family photos!!!

update: My son's wedding came and went in September 2007. I only lost 5 lbs but was faithful in going to the track and walking and running the stairs. I felt I lost inches and didn't look too bad. BUT.... since then I have gained 15 lbs, stopped working out and am so disgusted with myself.

I am tired of making excuses for not getting healthy. I'm a single mom working two jobs so ...

I am tired of making excuses for not getting healthy. I'm a single mom working two jobs so health clubs, personal trainers, even paying for weight watchers meetings is out of the question. I feel like spark people is my best chance for the encouragement and motivation I need to get started and stay on track.

My Goals:
I don't really have an end date goal, just to get to the weight I think would be ideal for me and stay there. I would love to do it by this summer but am not sure that is realistic with the amount I have to lose.

Hi Dawn!!
Welcome back to Spark!! I did the same thing, I joined last year and didnt participate and take my health and the motivation and TIME to feeling better and ended up with the weight creeping right back on me. I have been back since January and am feeling so much better about myself. My little ticker doesnt move as quick as I'd like but I sure do feel good about what I am doing and how I am feeling and ...the friendships and comraderie I have found here to support me along my journey and give me that little push when I need it. Welcome to "I'm 40+ and I Want to Be a Big Loser" team!

Come join one of the challenges! There are 2 going on...posting your water intake, calories/pts (for those of us that do Weight Watchers) sleep ect.. and then the plan exercise. Any problems jut spark mail me....
