Healthy is as healthy does

I did it once and I can do it again ! 130# off and kept off for 3 years. 80# back on now due to poor coping skills with stress. This time it stays off. I don't want to die young or be in pain until I die old. I want energy and I deserve to be happy, energetic, and fit ! I've always taken care of others, now I take care of myself. NO MORE GUILT !!! I have choices.

Update: I had actually gained 147 # from my laziness. I had been at 177# for 3 years and still felt fat and out of control, poor self esteem. October 2013 I started again because I was unwilling to totally give up on myself. I discovered I really do love myself and I am worth so much more than what I think food & laziness were giving me.

Personal Information:
Started 2/15/07, rejoined 11/17/2013. I work as a nurse, no stress there...I love my family and my pets. I have no children. I am 52 yrs old and tired of being in pain so I am choosing to change my life for the better, to make positive choices and to be thankful for all things in my life good or bad as it will teach me in the end.

Other Information:
Love to RV. I had a 1988 class A Fleetwood pacearrow. Mom used to joke that it is so delaminated, she expects to look in her rearview mirror some day to see a class A convertible. LOL. Work full time, so camping is weekends and one 2 week trip yearly. I have 1 dog and roomie has 2, all eskimo's. Also like to bike but have to adjust handles again as wrists go numb fast.

Thanks for the Goodie...
I am dying to bake cookies in my new oven but I just don't dare. I will give in shortly and maybe give my goods away. I just want to use my NEW oven.
Stay strong and keep on going. emoticon

Thanks for the Spark Goodie! It is getting more difficult each week to pull out a loss but I'm working hard. Yes, Ruthann and Heather are keeping me on my toes but this challenge is anyone's game. Your mother is coming from behind and going to take the lead with all those points she's racking up! She deserves the recognition so I gladly cheer her on. And you too! I'm not sure I could have been as good as you at the Golden Corral, especially with your mom and brother eating whatever they wanted!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I too agree that it does matter what I eat as I can easily binge on certain foods too. It's truly a joke but one to look at between the lines and with all the other countries being more slender that Americans, they must have a secret and we should be able to put it all together and lose tons of weight BUT that isn't what happens, does it! Glad you stopped by and thanks again! Sending love and hugs to you, dear friend!!

Thanks for commenting on my Veggie Omelet Blog TC~~
I am not doing WW's either any more but I know the point plus system they use and I have their calculator.
I prefer just keeping track of my calories versus points.
So on any food Blogs etc....that I do~~I just put both the calories and the points so that if someone else is doing WW's they can see how many points things are.
The powdered cheese I use here is a Kraft one...I like it because it has that deep orange color. But there are others...some no name brands...that are white powder. Just be sure to check the calories because some are more than others. Mine is 2 TBSP for 35 calories. Usually I find them in the aisle where they have all the ingredients for spaghetti ....
You love your veggie omelet you make so you will love this too...have just added the ham slices really to this one...and you can freeze them and then micro them when you want one ( or two...lol..they are cheap in calories! )
