Every journey begins with a single step

I am a full time Mom, and am finally starting to do things that are good for me. I've joined a local Rec Centre and get out to workout 3 times a week. I'm trying to eat healthier (What!? My Starbucks coffees are 400 calories!), and make healthier choices for my family (No, we don't need a snowblower, you can use a shovel). I've lost a couple of inches, and am finally starting to see progress on the scale! Our new routine of swimming, gym, and skiing has me feeling pretty wiped out, but ...

My Goals:
1) Be healthier

2) Be in top shape for summer sports season

3) Lose 50 lbs

My Program:
1) Go to gym for cardio and strength training 3 times a week

2) Make an effort to keep within my sparkpeople calorie range for the day and track all my calories.

3) Eat more homemade food, and less restaurant food.

Thank you for the goodie and for the encouragement! Glad you are better. Hopefully we can pull through this soon. I hate seeing my little ones sick.
