Well on my journey to a new me.

Hello and thanks for stopping by. A little about me... I am looking towards getting healthy. I have has some family incidents that make a boy realize it is time to get serious fitness and health. I have been doing CrossFit for over a year now and love it! I like the fact that most of the time the workouts are short. I have been eating a modified Paleo diet and that works out well for me. Hello and thanks for stopping by. A little about me... I am looking towards getting healthy. I have has some family incidents that make a boy realize it is time to get serious fitness and health. I have been doing CrossFit for over a year now and love it! I like the fact that most of the time the workouts are short. I have been eating a modified Paleo diet and that works out well for me. I don't measure my food and don't worry about what to eat. I just finished my second Whole30! I started out my journey reading the 4 Hour Body by Timothy Ferris and the slow-carb diet. I saw modest success there and researched Paleo after he did an article on gut permeability and some links to Robb Wolfs website. What really sealed the deal and the turning point in my life was my father had a cardiac incident in April of 2011. A week in a hospital will change a boy. Well the thinking afterwards as you really don't think in a hospital! I have fell off the wagon a few times, but I keep getting back on and Paleo is there to help me along! My Goals:
I would like to get into my skinny jeans. LOL. Actually my motivation was more to get healthy and the weight loss would follow. My goal is to have my blood work done and have every thing in check. I need to Lower my blood pressure to a healthy range. I would also like to know what my cholesterol is.

My Program:
My program is CrossFit Three to Four times a week. I like to walk at the park and play with my sons. I enjoy riding my bike and now that I have cycling shorts it is a lot better! I eat on a Paleo Template lifestyle.

Personal Information:
Just a Wyoming boy getting healthy everyday. I have two sons that I am getting healthy for.

You are doing Great on your progress! Almost 50 lbs lost already, that is just Awesome!!!

I am hoping to be able to reach that bench mark in the future also. I got myself to this weight, I can get myself out, might just take longer than it did to get here of course :)
