Time to Get Fit

I have been off and on, off and on this healthy lifestyle track. This time I'm more motivated than I've ever been before! I am a single mom, I have a 9 & 6 year old. They keep me busy! But, they are finally at an age that they can get in the healthy/fit routine with me.

My goal is to finally have the body I've always wanted. Be able to wear a swimsuit without trying to hide my saddlebags.

I also want to have the strength and energy to get everything done and ...

I don't care what my final weight is. I care how I feel and how I look.

Finished week 1 on Saturday....did pretty good pace wise but it was hot! Need to stick to the mornings here ;-) Will be starting week 2 tomorrow

yes, very exciting that we begin the program at the same time!! and i did get my second workout in! i am soo sore! i think i'll delay my next workout until saturday.

Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. I will be popping in on the Weeks 1 - 3 training to help answer any questions that might pop up and to cheer you on to your goals! Be blessed! Be a runner!
