Giving This A Try

I want to change the result of my calories-in minus calories-out equation. I want to fit into my clothes again. I want to progress on the rehabilitation of my broken ankle so that I can hike and bike long distances again. I want to be good to myself and not just care for others. I believe that all people deserve to be treated with loving care and respect. I need to remember that this belief includes me treating myself that way, too!

You're welcome for the comment. I know how difficult it is to balance it all so that everyone benefits, and is happy (that's probably the most difficult).

I love meeting new people with whom I have things in common and getting to know them. Learning about their differences is just as exciting sometimes.

Thank you for reading and commenting on the list of ten blog.
I'm a women of the 60's , we were brought up believing we should give back to the country. You know Peace Corp and all the protest and volunteer that went on in those days.
Well I am still that women, just wanting a better world for all of us.
After suffering through being obese I want to see if I can make any difference in anyone's life. We have to do more than talk about it.
More people have to be educated in how to avoid becoming obese.
I know it's a big job, but I will do what I can.

Tanks for your comment on my blog...I have always used missing a day as an excuse to throw in the towel...like I used to go to the gym occasionally, only to come home and snack, because I figured I could...balance things out, calories burned, calories eaten, right? WRONG! And that was when I only had abut 20 pounds to lose!!

I like your BMI goal...I think I currently sit at 32.9...would like to get below 30...
