So, its time for an update to this page and to my username; more out of boredom than anything else. Although, I suppose it is also a great time to reevaluate my goals and kick start my motivation.

I have been a member of SP since late June '08 and am truly grateful for its presence in my life. I am learning so much about life from so many inspiring people. It is a great support system and I love the features for keeping myself on track.

I am still in the middle of a career change (from Social Services/Behavioral Therapist to Business) and have yet to land a new job. Nevertheless, I am staying positive and enjoying myself. My time is spent focusing on my MBA, getting healthy, going green, and spending time with the ones I love.

Since joining SparkPeople I have lost nearly 15 pounds (Woo Hoo); the progress has been slower than I would like, but I figure that slow progress is better than NO progress. Besides, I haven't been depriving myself of food that I love. And, I have been working out 5 to 6 times a week. I AM making change for the better.

With that, I think I will set some mini goals. Maybe this will help me to stay focused and remain optimistic.

140 lbs: Jillian Michaels Wii Game
135 lbs: Massage (Have a gift certificate I would love to use)
130 lbs: New Pair of Boots
125 lbs: New Outfit from Anthrpologie or New Leaf Eco Boutique

My Goals:
My goal includes weight loss, but more importantly increasing healthy habits so that I can maintain my weight and exercise routine in the future.

My Program:
I am exercising nearly everyday; doing videos and strength training in the time I have and then supplementing with biking and other fun activities with friends. I am starting to watch my calorie intake and really like the Spark nutrition tracker-it is SUPER helpful!

*Started working out at least 4 days a week; no specific diet changes.
5/08: 162-Still working out, now at least 5 days a week. Think I gained muscle, not fat.
