Maintaining for the long haul

The great thing about SparkPeople is it's ALWAYS about improving from wherever you are. I'm figuring out how to be a better school teacher, how to maintain my cardio base through the winter, how to date in middle age. An intuitive eater now, but tracking occasionally as a check up; still using Spark's tools to get stronger and fitter (yay for Coach Nicole's workout videos).

My Goals:
My next race is a 5K exploring northern Manhattan.
Working on graduating from the assisted pull-up machine to a plain old bar to being able to climb the Vertical Playpen on Camp Shepard's high ropes course. Learning ballroom dance and ice hockey.
Applying for National Board Certification.
Sewing a wardrobe that fits my goal weight body.
Making repairs to my maybe-no-longer-underwater house so I can sell it and move on.

I'm on the Spring Melt team.
You had a question about the challenge.
We receive 75 for each Bicep, triceps, squats, Bicycle crunches etc. Then we receive an extra April daily assignment. 75 bonus points each day.
They add up nicely.
Have fun in May. See you on the team.

Just saw your comment re comparing spinning yarn with a spindle vs wheel. I can't help you as I've only just learned to use the spindle, and that was my first foray into spinning of any kind. Patti and Nancy can help you though.
