My DH and I track WW points. We don't go to meetings. He is an online member. We are both losing weight slowly.
I was born in Indianapolis and raised in Logansport, Indiana. I attended college in Muncie, Indiana. During my career with a large corporation I worked in Indianapolis, Chicago and New Orleans. I am retired now. Praise God! Our home was badly damaged by hurricane Katrina, and we moved to Axton, VA for 2 years. We have been back in Pearl River, LA since 7/2008. It is good to be back home.
My DH and I have been married for over 18 years. We met in an athletic club when I was much lighter and fitter. Between us we have 5 adult children. 4 of the children have children. We have a total of 17 grandchildren. We have a boxer named Dempsey. He is a sweet dog...a little excitable, but most boxers are puppies for life! I am a Christian and enjoy watching cooking shows and gardening.
DD is off to college next month so planning a party (that she said she didn't want but changed her mind). It's amazing how much nature can overtake the yard in a few years. Glad we opened up the yard again, it feels good!
This year I decided to raise chickens for eggs. Still trying to determine but believe there's a couple roosters in the flock which may go back to the farm. I paid for all hens and they have a return policy which made me comfortable in purchasing from them.
