Barrett's esophagus can be a precancerous condition (though the doctor said it's unlikely that mine will become cancerous), and diabetes can cause very serious health problems. So it's all the more important for me to get to a healthy weight.

I've joined the 2016 Winter 5% Challenge, so I'm going to post my exercise plan here, as they suggest. I will do aerobic exercise for at least 45 minutes five days a week and will do strength training three days.

I would like to lose 20 pounds and get to 145.

My Goals:
I'd like to stop binging and eating compulsively, and let my body get to its natural weight. I'd like to live the rest of my life strong and healthy.

I also want to look better!

My Program:
I'm exercising five or six days a week, doing step aerobics,spin classes, and machines such as the elliptical trainer. I'm also doing strength training.



Personal Information:
I'm from Portland, Maine, and live near the ocean. I love gardening. I'm a Buddhist and a recovering alcoholic sober for 29 years. I'm also an avid knitter!

Happy to get to know you better and that we are on this journey together. LOVE Maine-took a family vacation there just so I could have a lobster roll every day for a week!

SUE, congrats on the sweater and appointments are coming at DH and I too often ---4 ---this week Today Lewiston.

I rarely get sick just aches and pains as a rule - Seventies of course.
This is headaches, COUGHING and really sore throat but the worst is, I have no sense of smell or TASTE
