My sister and I had pedicures to celebrate 21 years of sobriety.

A daylily that I find breathtaking. Don't know the variety.

My pride and joy hibiscus, finally blooming after three years.

I have 35 pics in my gallery

Hi! My name is Sue, and I'm trying to stay motivated to eat in a healthy way, overcome my problem of binge eating, and exercise. I'm an enthusiastic gardener and live in Coastal Maine.

My doctor told me this morning in no uncertain terms that I need to lose weight because of shortness of breath. Today I feel the way I felt 27 years ago when I finally got sick enough of drinking to quit. I'm scared that I'll fail (again) in my weight-loss quest, but I also really want the ...

I'm scared that I'll fail (again) in my weight-loss quest, but I also really want the benefits I'll get from it.

Update: Now I've been diagnosed with Barrett's esophagus caused by longterm acid reflux. Since that can be a precancerous condition, it's all the more important for me to get to a healthy weight.

Recommitting!

May your focus on Valentine’s Day be on all of the wonderful things you love about yourself and the beautiful person you truly are. Take time to celebrate you, because you are worth celebrating.

(Butting into your conversation with Pat) There are also pre-mixed solutions for wallpaper removal, although like Pat, I prefer steam. You can often rent a wallpaper steamer from a hardware store like a True Value.

If the wallpaper is one layer over plaster and it's good and tight, rather than risk nicking the plaster or worse, destabilizing it with too much moisture, you can often just paper over the first layer as long as it's not flocked or shiny. My mother used to refer to this as "leaving the problem for the next guy" but at my age, I figure that's a fair deal. emoticon
