I turned 30 in September and this has given me some much-needed motivation to make changes in my life.

In this new decade, I will no longer be addicted to carbs! There, I said it! Make it so.

I also LOVE running! I am working on chipping away at my 5K time and have signed up for the Baltimore Half Marathon in October of this year. My asthma makes it difficult to push myself but I keep doing it anyway.

Reach a weight of 150 lbs by my 31st birthday

Run the Batimore Half Marathon in 2011- already signed up!

I am an Extreme Brickover contestant, starting in March 2011.

12/2008: Figgy Pudding 5K clock time 42:22 (no chip timing)
10/2009: Baltimore Running Festival chip time 40:23
9/2010: Run 4 Shelter 5K chip time 40:30:20, pace 13:24
10/16/2010: Baltimore Running Festival chip time 39:51!!!!!!!
3/2011: Winter Pickle 5K: 40:28 (super hilly course)


Other Information:
I am a research nurse in pediatric oncology. My hobbies include knitting, running, and sudoku. Bands: Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Police, Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, among many others.

One of my most favorite things to do is cuddle up in bed with some knitting or a book with Adina, do that for a while while she reads or whatever, then close the lights and snuggle, with the cats sleeping on the bed.
