Maintenance, Marathoning, and More

Greetings!

I've been a member of SP for over a year now (whoa!) and my goals just keep changing so this is "intro" numero 4.

I've reached a point where I'm no longer trying to lose weight, but am just focusing on maintenance and training for various races, half marathons, and probably a second marathon eventually. Oh, and I really wanna do my first triathlon soon too!

If I never hit that "125" target I'm OK with that. I fit all my old clothes (from when ...

If I never hit that "125" target I'm OK with that. I fit all my old clothes (from when I did weigh 125) so I figure it's not really about the weight anymore and more about my body composition. That said, still aiming to keep below 133ish but am not stressing about the rest.

SP has been a great place for me for so many things - I'm thrilled to be where I am now and I know SP helped me get here.

My advice to any newbies: consistency and commitment. If you practice those in your approach to weight loss, weight maintenance, fitness goals, etc. you will be amazed and thrilled at your transformation - mental and physical.

I still struggle off and on but DH and I have tried a few different things and I am slowly (but surely) getting back to the self I was :)

You're most welcome! Thanks for your blog comment! Kale chips are delicious and I highly recommend them! Just make sure you bake until they're all the way crispy but not burned (you don't want blackness like when you roast brussels!) I am intrigued that you're in maintenance mode!I'm basically there, too... Almost! Is it pretty manageable? I need maintenance tips :) hope your Monday went well! Vanessa
