I live on a farm but work in our local school as a secretary, which I enjoy. Will be retiring one of these years. We have 2 boys and 1 girl, 7 grandchildren. Been married to the same guy for 43 years, love of my life. We love to travel, have been in all 50 states and most of Canada. My favorite exercise is swimming, which I do at least 4 times a week for 30-45 minutes, on my lunch hour. Also stationary bike. As I have a new knee and hip, I am quite careful with what I do for exercising.

My Goals:
I currently weigh 230 and would like to lose 50 pounds this year.

My Program:
I swim at least 4 days a week and ride stationary bike the other 2. Sundays I try to walk. Either walking in the mall or somewhere.

Other Information:
I am a secretary at school and love it. Kids are wonderfu. They keep you young. haha

Hi Granny swimmer. Just wanted to say Hi and thank you for stopping by with your comments. Just turned 60 a couple of weeks ago, cannot believe it!! I also have knee problems and need a knee replacement, currently trying to push that back as long as possible. Have had a series of injections and they have helped so much, plus losing some weight and getting more active have also helped. We are very similar I only have 2 grand babies so far but expect a couple more in the next few years, plus when my middle son gets married in July I will have 3 step grand kids. Life is good, it was very nice to meet you. Please keep in touch.

Just stopped in to say "Hello" and encourage you to keep going with SP. We left Washington and I miss the green, the mist, the gray, the cool. Arizona is still hot, hot, hot. Write me a note, let me know how you are.

I love to swim also, and recently started taking advantage of my gym's pool. Today I took my second-ever water aerobics class. It's so fun!!

I have my glass of red wine every night too - with 60 calories worth dark chocolate! Hey, as long as you include it in your daily plan and make whatever adjustments you need to allow for this little treat, it shouldn't hold you back at all!
