Am in the 50 plus group. My goal is to lose at least 16 pounds (doctor's order). I have a horrible sweet tooth. I feel like I'm having withdrawls because I'm not having my dessert after dinner. Anyone else going through this? What can I do?

You can add some desserts, just be sure to record the calories in your food tracker. There are Spark recipes for lower calorie sweets. If you want the real thing, though, try some small things - like an Andes mint or something tiny.

Some people can handle a few bites and not lose control, others can't. It's tough. The 100 calorie packs of cookies and crackers can be a trap - if you can't stop at one.

There's another message board, nutrition, where you can get more ideas on satisfying your sweet tooth.

Good luck!
