Thank you for your comment. I have actually been pretty much vegetarian for the past six months and just finally decided to give up my 2-3 oz chicken 2 x week. I get protein every day from beans, soy, tofu, nuts. I wasn't craving carbohydrates last night...I was on an eating binge due to being lonely and tired and carbohydrates just happened to be the available comfort food as I don't keep candy in the house so I chowed down on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It was closest to sweets I could get. I am an emotional eater and have an addictive personality and although I no longer drink I often use food in an addictive way. I am working with my AA sponsor on the food issue too. 1945 days ago
Eating too little can be harmful...I usually eat about 1200 calories. When I cut back my mind becomes too cloudy and its too difficult to think! Since I have boosted my calories up to about 1200 per day, I am feeling much better.
Too little calories causes your body to go into starvation mode. Not good!
