My name is Cecilia. I love exercising, I absolutely love this website, especially all the changes it has gone through since I first joined in November 08. My goals on this site are now just to lose a few pounds, maintain and get toned. Feel free to add me as a friend: I love meeting new people!

NEW NEWS::
My sparkpeople journey has been a successful one altogether. I started at 138 pounds in November 08 and ended up at 115 pounds in May 09, but then gained back twelve or so when I got super depressed and stopped exercising. Immediately after that I got pregnant and gained 28 pounds with the pregnancy.

My baby boy was born 6/1/2010. He was 9 lbs 11 oz and after 6 weeks I was back down to 127, which is my current weight (7/18/10). My goal now is to lose 7 pounds and/or have a body fat content of 22%
Unfortunately I'm living with my mom, who cooks AMAZING food that I have difficulty tracking on sparkrats.... anyways here is some...

Healthier body: able to jump rope 10 minutes without stopping. ...one day i'll be able to. i swear.


My Program:
1. min 30 minutes of cardio 5x/wk
2. strength training two or three times a week, really focusing on weak upper body. (i'm really bad at doing this so i'm lessening the days to give lenience. but i bought resistance bands and that should help out.)
3. really stop drinking!! THIS IS IMPORTANT! you booze you lose!! or get arrested for drunk in public and kicking cops. again.

i knit and love playing cards and jacks and hand-clapping games. (i chose jump roping as exercise because it's so fun) i hate chess though. i can beat my boyfriend at arm wrestling if we do it left-handed. ^_^
also do tarot cards and have a 3 month old son named Vyvyan

    Hi, I saw your comment on the soy blog. I'm no eco freak or anything; but I totally agree with your views regarding food production outside the U.S. If we want to eat the soy, then our own farmers should grow it. Let the third world grow food to feed themselves. What, am I doing about my beliefs? I grow as much food for my family as I can. I have a neighbor that is willing to let me use her land and grow more. I plan on selling that in my own community. I figure, every bit of food I grow helps to demote the import of food. I certainly won't get rich doing this; but I can at least live with myself at the end of the day.
