My first knee replacement worked fine, but they have a 'shelf life' of about 10 years. After 12 mine needed doing again. It's taking longer to recover from this one, as it's a bigger op to take out the old one and put in a new one.

Thanks for your continued support and encouragement!! You are such a blessing to all of us and we do appreciate you!! Did your knee replacements not work? Arthritis is the pits for sure and now my body seems to be falling apart all at the same time.

You keep on going, at least you know what the courses are like. In the normal way I would agree with you, but I've never come across a course with so much reading and writing. Seven books and seven TMA's! Shell shocked, and the capsule I took earlier makes me feel like my head is stuffed with cotton wool. Still print it off, do the diagrams, and I'm done. For a fortnight anyhow. emoticon

I am really struggling with my open university course at the moment. I'm behind with it, but my marks are good and this is the last year they are doing this course, and of course the assignments have to go to your tutor on time. She has bent over backwards to help me this year, and I cannot bear to give up. It puts me under a lot of stress though.
