To get healthy by eating right, exercising on a daily basis and losing weight along the way. My short term goal is to get to 130 lbs. My long term goals are to weigh 120 or less and not have to take BP medication any more.
Goal met 11/7/14 No longer have to take BP medication.
I try to exercise a min. of 20 mins. daily. My favorite form of exercise is walking. I have been making healthier food choices.
I love to be outdoors. Summer is my favorite season. I love to be by the water and go swimming. My favorite thing to do is go to the pool and swim and read a good book. Ah, how relaxing. I'm 58 years old. I have been married for 38 years and have 3 children and 8 grand children .
My knee is feeling good now. My doctor thinks it's the beginning of arthritis - hope not. She said my water aerobics and cycling are the best for it, and she's happy that my trainer is working on strengthening the surrounding muscle. She told me to stop doing an exercise if it hurts, and ice it as I have been when it's sore. It really just took some minor adjustment in my exercise habits to find things that don't hurt it.
