My dearest friend - OMG!!! I have just read your last 2 blogs and also the comment you left on my spark page - and am completely SHOCKED over all that you have gone through in recent days (as if all that you went through in the past was not enough!). Damn it to hell!!! Enough is enough and I can imagine your complete and utter frustration, disappointment and feeling the need to vent. I would scream if I were you - In fact, I am screaming for you right now! I am so very sorry that you have had to suffer all of this ----- and to suffer it when you have needed so badly, perhaps DESPERATELY, a time for healing your body, mind and spirit! I hate it!!!! But you are so right - during this time - make it YOUR time for rest and recovery. This rotten, horrible, gut wrenching time WILL PASS - It most certainly will and the world will right itself again - but please make your recovery time as comfortable and as relaxing as you can. I know it would sound very insensitive to say, "try to make it as enjoyable as you can", but I pray that you will find some moments of joy during this down time in whatever way that it might come to you. I did not take time (yet) to respond to your blogs this evening. My husband was and perhaps still is, in a health crisis at the moment. However, late this afternoon we are finally getting some hope that this too will be something we can get over and that all will return to some sense of normalcy soon. Anyway, please know that I am thinking of you and sending you love and healing thoughts. You are precious to me!
Hey sis, sorry to hear about your gallbladder issues. BUT, I would resist the temptation to have it removed. Dr. Michael Eades has some good information on the role of the gallbladder, why people end up with stones (too much carbs in the diet and not enough fat), etc.
Also, if you can, watch this film "Fathead". It debunks the movie "Super Size Me" and talks about how we need to eat more fat and less carbs to maintain our health. There are a few Dr.s and scientists interviewed in the film.
