GRANDBOBB IS LOSING IT !!

I am a 59 year old grandmother of 6. I want to get healthy and get off all the medications I take for obesity related illnesses. This time I'm not going to diet. I am making a lifestyle change! Can really use some motivation and support. This is a great site. I am happy to be here.

YOU KNOW IT'S TIME TO DIET WHEN:

You dance and it makes the band skip

You are diagnosed with the flesh-eating virus, and the doctor gives you 22 more years to live

You put mayonnaise on an aspirin

You go to the zoo and the elephants throw you peanuts

Your driver's liscense says, "Picture continued on other side."

You ran away and they had to use all four sides of the milk carton for your picture

You learn you were born with a silver shovel in your mouth

Your graduation picture was an aerial photograph

Your belly button doesn't have lint---it has sweaters

Your cereal bowl comes with a lifeguard

You could sell shade

Your blood type is Ragu

You get on the end of a see-saw and launch your kid into outer space

Your neighbors complain when you hang your underwear out to dry because they lose three hours of sunlight

The ticket lady at Seaworld tells you you're on in five minutes

Your beeper goes off and someone says, "Look out! It's backing up!"

You stand up to get off the bus and three people take your seat!

You stand up and lay down and your height doesn't change!

You jump in the ocean and the whales start singing, "We are family!"

You have to go to Sea World to get baptized!

You have to wear a watch on both arms because you cover two time zones!

You go to the neighbor's to watch home movies and they ask you to wear white!

The weather people start giving names to your farts!

When you turn around they throw you a welcome back party!

You go to a restaurant and instead of giving you a menu they give you an estimate!

The government gives you your own area code!

When you stand on the talking scales they say, "Please step out of the car."

Prudential offers you group insurance!

It takes you two trips to get through a revolving door!

You look in the mirror and you see your rear end without turning around!

The lifeguard asks you to move off the beach to let the tide come in!

You are walking down the street and the police pull up and shout "Break it up!"

Instead of wearing a g-string you have to wear a g-rope!

Spandex doesn't come in your size!

Instead of six-pack abs, you have a keg!

You wear a yellow rain coat and people run at you shouting "taxi!"

You have more rolls that a bakery!

Your children look through your wedding album and ask who daddy's first wife was!

To ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life!

A man's health can be judged by which he takes two at a time---pills or stairs!

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present!

You cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building nests in your hair. (Chinese proverb)

Sure God created man before woman, but then again you always make a rough draft before creating the final masterpiece!

I'm glad that you are still in the Bootcamp with me. I did manage to do the exercises last night but with a lot of groaning. The little circles with my leg up in the air darn near killed me! But Bootcamp is not supposed to be easy, right?

You can have a copy of the fat kitty! I don't mind! I thought he was cute!

Hi Grandbobb!
How are you doing with the Bootcamp? There is no way I'm going to be able to do the Bonus Challenge today...I'm not good with jumping. UGH! I'll try it though...who knows, I might surprise myself!

Remember...do it because you are worth it!! emoticon

Yeh.....those stability balls can get kinda ugly, can't they? emoticon emoticon I checked out the challenge for today and really wanted to give it a try, BUT I just did all my strength stuff yesterday, so I decided to forego this challenge today 'cause I don't wanna do strength exercises every single day. But got my cardio in and will pick back up on it tomorrow! (How's that for a handy dandy excuse to not fall off that ball?) HAHAHAHAHA! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! LOL

Yep, I did it, too.....only not near as exuberantly as the young coach! HAHAHA! I have to be a bit careful with stuff like jumping/bouncing around a lot, so I had to do it lightly. Today will be my first experience with a stability ball, so that should be interesting! It's gonna be a good week, right??? emoticon
