Walking My Way to Fitness

I'm into my fifth year on Spark People and overall I've been successful in making lifestyle changes for the better. I've had some ups and downs on the scale, but I know without the support and accountability that I've found here I would have continued the gradual climb upwards. My goal is within sight now and it's a great place to be. I use Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home program for my workouts which has been my most effective tool in losing weight and getting fit. Thanx for stopping by and reading my blog this morning and for the support and encouragement. My stamina and endurance has improved so much since I started using WATP. I cant even begin to explain how wonderful it feels to me able to go hiking with my kids again and not have to stay on the easy trails or have to stay behind so they can go do the hard ones.. My children are my life and means so much to have the energy to be active with them. emoticon

Thanks...the day was pretty nice and the walk happened, now I just hope tomorrow will arrive with my joint pain being gone...I only feel old when I hurt. LOL

Thanks for your comment on my blog. You are right that having the good weather and longer daylight will help me stay out of the kitchen in the evening. I hope it helps me build a good habit.
