Hi! I am GRAMMAELLEN and I am searching for good health. I hope to lose weight, become more active, and improve my outlook on life. I miss the person I used to be, and I am trying to find her again. Hi! I am GRAMMAELLEN and I am searching for good health. I hope to lose weight, become more active, and improve my outlook on life. I miss the person I used to be, and I am trying to find her again. I have the best dogs ever, Rosie, a shar-pei and a new puppy Lucy who is half rat terrier and half Jack Russell terrier. I want to take them to the park and on walks again. I am lucky enough to have 2 fantastic children, and 3 incredible grandsons. David, Dawson and Devin. I want to be healthy enough to play with my grandkids. I want to watch my grandsons graduate from college. I want to dance at their weddings. I want to watch my great grandkids grow up. I want to feel sexy again. I want my husband to think "Oooo baby!" when he looks at me. I need to feel good about myself and proud of my accomplishments again. Somehow they all got tied up in this weight thing, and I don't know why. I am happy to be where I am in life. And I believe Spark People can help me become healthier, thinner, more active, and just plain improve my overall life experience. I am so thankful that SP exists. It is a truly amazing site. And so, the adventure begins!

My Goals:
Weight Loss Lose 1 pound per week until I reach my goal weight of 150lbs. Fitness Walk at least 3 times per week. Get my husband to walk with me at least 1 time per week. Begin strength traing at least 2 times per week. Health Keep my blood sugar below 140 at all times. Lower my blood pressure until I no longer need medication to control it. Keep my HgbA1C below 5.9 Lower my cholesterol to below 200. Increase my HDL to 55. Emotional Wake up everyday with a positive attitude! Feel confident and proud of my accomplishments. Be more outgoing and less fearful of meeting new people. Write a blog at least once a week.
My Program:
MOST IMPORTANT! Journal everything I eat every day. Walk every day, even if it is just for 5 minutes. Eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables per day. 8-10 glasses of water per day. Avoid deserts and alcohol and other empty calories. Stick to my exercise schedule. Set realistic goals and take baby steps to reach them.
