Picture: Sunset on Sauvie Island. Time to think about visiting the Pumpkin Patch and taking a long hike in the Corn Maze.

In no particular order the "Top 12 Things" that have helped me avoid gaining weight during stressful events.
1) Support from friends and family.
2) Logging on to Spark People daily.
3) Faith.
4) Eating a hearty salad with protien
5) Freezing 1/4 cup of juice in bottom of water bottle then adding water over the frozen juice. Yumm....I drink more water that way.
6) Walking the dog every evening.
7) Visualizing cravings as little beasts and disciplining them by telling them "no" they may not have sugar. That way I do not feel deprived.
8) Decluttering house. It's uplifting and fights cravings.
9) Gardening
10) Enjoying the sunshine.
11) Hearty vegetable and bean soup in a rainbow of colors.
12) Eliminating most wheat products from diet.

    It is so sweet you are taking care of Bailey. She sounds like a cutie too. I am sure you miss Buddy. I love my three dogs so much! Even if they are a pain some days. lol!

    Bailey sounds amazing, a perfect dog for a nice walk emoticon I take Bella out a little but that is just me being dragged down the street, she is young and lots of energy. However, I guess it's good though because you either jog or get dragged emoticon I have been riding my stationary bike everyday for 30 mins to an hour, in hopes that I can reverse the Pre-Diabetes. I am staying strong thanks to your support as well as a few other family members. It keeps me motivated, thanks for always watching out for me emoticon

    I have been feeling horrible 😓 I was having withdrawals from caffeine. I have been really sick but I can't drink it without sugar 😓. So I forced some down and feel a lot better now 😊
