Fit & Fab for Grad School :)

It's on this time around!! New city, new body, new me!

I started graduate school this fall, and decided that since I gained appx 40 pounds during my undergrad, it was time to shape up or ship out!
I recently adopted a beautiful Whippet/Lab mix, Gotti, who has really made me want to improve my health, ...
It's on this time around!! New city, new body, new me!

I started graduate school this fall, and decided that since I gained appx 40 pounds during my undergrad, it was time to shape up or ship out!
I recently adopted a beautiful Whippet/Lab mix, Gotti, who has really made me want to improve my health, fitness, and all that so that I cane make sure he has a healthy and LONG life!
My biggest challenges so far are: making myself say NO to greasey fast food and pizza (my undergrad necessitys), drinking enough water throughout the day, avoiding the snack machine at work, avoiding cheese (at least in the portions I used to eat it), and NUMERO UNO=having the energy to get to the gym! In addition, I also struggle with the "work food" monsters- people bringing in bagels, cookies, candy, and pastries...for some reason, in my head, these are "ok" since I didn't buy them!

What I'll Do When I Get Fit & Fab (for each 9lbs lost):
-Buy a new outfit
-Drink a glass of Sangria w/fruit!

What I'll Do When I'm Completely Fit & Fab (-27lbs):
-Wear my "skinny" jeans out to the club!
-Go to Rizzo's for chicken ALFREDO!
-Get my hair colored/cut professionally
-Get my nails did!

My Program:
-Eat 1,500 calories or less/day
-Cardio workout 3-4 times/wee k
-Strength workouts 3 times/week
-Stairs instead of elevator @ work
-Include more vegetables and less carbs in EACH meal



Personal Information:
I'm Jaime! I grew up in the college town of Columbia, MO where I enjoyed (a bit too much) my college years! I ate too much pizza, drank too much beer, and didn't work out. Now I'm starting graduate school and trying to get my body back to the pre-college years!

Good morning ! hope you had a good day yesterday , itw ill be the only easy one you get! And thats just because your over it and dont have to go back. I did GOOD - i stayed home and out of the bars , Boring i know. But check me out - up by 7 blogging , getting pumped up for aerobic kixkboxing classs woooo hoooo go me .
